Apart from nature itself, everything we see around us today began in the human imagination, including the well-designed chair you’re probably sitting on whilst reading this, the device you’re likely reading this webpage on, and yes, even your favourite song.
Somebody thought of it all and worked with others to bring it to form. That means we can use our imagination to plant the seed to not only create beautiful and enriching things artistically 😉, but to envisage and bring about being a better person for our own sake, and for those around us.
“Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were. But without it we go nowhere”
— Carl Sagan
“But I wasn’t listening. But I wasn’t stopping. Because we were already running away again, me and my imagination.”
— Mona Awad
“The world of reality has its limits; the world of imagination is boundless”.
— Jean-Jacques Rousseau
To know is nothing at all; to imagine
is everything.”
― Anatole France
